A pioneering technique to detect plastics floating on the sea surface, led by scientists at Plymouth Marine Laboratory nd using a machine-learning based method for detection developed with the NERC Earth Observation Data and Acquisition and Analysis Service (NEODAAS), has been published this week in Scientific Reports.
